Focusing on a spiritual essence, this mural investigates shifting states of introspection and ritual. In agesture of reverence, the setting sun marks the building's history, moving tales and the weighted past of the physical bluestone walls. Whilst the harmonic figures balanced across the wall's surface, depicted through light and shadow, breathe new life into the space and adapt to their new-found contemporary context. The undertones of green throughout the palette reflect the local landscape of Merri Creek and the growing community within the original Pentridge site.
