In my 'butterfly' series, I hand-cut collages using pages from insect and gardening books. As I flipped through the pages, captivated by the colours, shapes, and lines, these collages took shape simultaneously. Guided by the natural curves of leaves and wings, I arranged the pieces until they fell into a natural harmony.
